Surface Conditioning


Surface conditioning materials are designed to blend and refine abrasive grind lines and give a smooth burr free finish.  We can supply SCM products as belts, flap discs velcro backed discs, fibre discs, flap discs or as quick change discs for use on both the socatt and roloc / lockit  fixing.  

Properties of Surface Conditioning Materials


Surface conditioning materials can be used wet or dry with no reduction in their performance and with their open non-woven structure surface conditioning materials are resistant to clogging and have a ‘cool’ abrasive action.  The flexibility of surface conditioning materials also means that they will conform to any work-piece easily making them very user-friendly.


Surface conditioning materials use premium grade aluminium oxide abrasives which make them well suited to use on stainless steel and other difficult surfaces.
