Rapid Finish
Super fast finish with an
excellent level of quality

Rapid Finish® Flap Discs

In addition to the RCD disc, the Rapid Finish® surface conditioning flap disc uses the latest technology three-dimensional abrasives from Standard Abrasives.  Now much copied, but never equalled, the Rapid Finish Flap disc was developed by Cibo Abrasives and registered under patent No. FR0114635.

This Rapid Finish® disc is amazingly versatile and owes its properties to the specific construction of the disc, coupled with advanced generation Standard Abrasives surface conditioning material.

     • Super-fast finishing

     • Unprecedented finish

     • High user comfort

     • Higher efficiency and productivity

     • Lasts up to 6x longer

     • Can be used to the last grain

     • Patented

Cutting Power

A great advantage of the Rapid Finish® surface conditioning flap discs is its amazing cutting power which ensures a faster result when blending and finishing, particularly on metals such as aluminium and stainless steel.

Great abrasive cutting power also reduces the amount of time you need to spend finishing your work-piece and means that work can be carried out at a low pressure thus optimising the product life.

Even untrained users will achieve excellent cutting results with this innovative disc.

Every desired level of finish will be achieved effortlessly.

Life

The Rapid Finish® surface conditioning disc wears uniformly and continuously renews its grains which ensures a continuous and uniform finish for the life of the disc.  As a result, this disc lasts up to six times longer than a traditional abrasive surface conditioning discs.

Speed

For an optimal result with the Rapid Finish® disc, we advise you to use the periferal speed recommended (see table below).

This prolongs the life of your abrasives with excellent results for your work piece.

Try using abrasive surface conditioning discs for the weld blending and preparation for painting.  An easy and simple process on mild steel and parts such as precision sheet metal fabrications.

Aluminium:

• Aluminium fabrications

• Aluminium cast work

• Aluminium welding work

• Removal of welding splash

• Preparation for anodising

• Homogenising surfaces

• Deburring of turning and cutting work

• Fine polishing

Steel:

• General steel constructions

• Tool manufacturing

• Construction of dies

• Machine parts

• Bright finishing and pre-polishing

Stainless Steel:

• Stair handrail & balustrades

• Catering steels

• Designer furniture and lighting

• Stainless steel plate work

• Pharmaceutical and chemical industries

• Sanitary installations

• Tanks and vessels

• Boat building

Titanium / Inconnel:

• Removing TIG welding splash

• Preparation for polishing

• Homogenising surfaces

• Light deburring of turned and

  cut work

• Improving surface roughness

• Finishing angles and roots

Bodywork:

• Removing paint and splashes

• Removing stone-chipped layers

• Due to their special structure, RF discs don’t clog up

Galvanized Coatings:

• Removing galvanising errors without   sanding into the zinc layer

• Surface preparation before

  galvanising

Important:

The Rapid Finish® flap disc is a finishing disc. The aim of the disc is to smooth surface roughness. It is not primarily a deburring disc.

The Rapid Finish® flap disc ensures a very low level of heat development. This disc will never clog up, not even with very soft materials, galvanised surfaces or on bodywork applications. It is the perfect cost effective partner for all your finishing applications.
