Polishing mops are available in a variety of sizes to suit a range of applications.
The diameter of disc you require will relate closely to the machine which you use.
Please use the table below as a guide, but refer to your machine’s specifications for their suggested maximum diameter of wheel or disc.

Finimaster Wheels

Loose cotton mops are the best way to achieve a mirror bright finish and are the last stage of the finishing process, generally used with our PV05 or PV102 compounds.


Due to the construction of a loose cotton mop it is difficult to measure the width. The most common loose cotton polishing mop we supply has a width of 25 mm, which gives an operational working area of 50mm.

Stitched cotton polishing mops are ideal for bringing a lightly damaged surface to a bright, mirror polished finish. They are usually used with our PV101 or PV102 compounds.


Stitched cotton mops are the most common polishing mop used for returning a lightly damaged surface back to a bright, 'mirror' polished finish.


Stitched mops are available in widths of 13, 25, 38 and 50 mm, again according to the diameter selected.
