Tex

Tex / Scotchbrite abrasives consist of non-woven plastic fibres that are held together by thermo-setting synthetic resin.  The abrasive grain is embedded in synthetic resin.  Tex products have a three-dimensional structure, with a particularly open web.

Like the proverbial domestic vacuum cleaner Tex products are often known by the generic name, scotchbrite.  Cibo products are manufactured using the most appropriate base product for each application.  This means that in some circumstances we will supply ‘genuine’ scotchbrite in other applications it may be made with product supplied by Standard Abrasives, Fibral or a number of other companies.  In any case you can be confident that we are supplying the best ‘scotchbrite’ for your application.

This has the following advantages:

• Tex is very comfortable to use

• Tex feels almost elastic in use

• Tex can be used with continuous pressure
